Showdown in the Sunlight is the fifth and final episode of the first season of The Daily Object Show, and the fifth episode of the series overall, and the tenth episode of the series chronologically.
It features the full debut of Evil Blood Bag, the apparent deaths of Evil Computer and Evil Blood Bag, and the winner is chosen.
Plot[]
Evil Computer returns to have his revenge on Computer, Blood Bag asks what he is doing here, Computer tells Evil Computer they will defeat him again but Evil Computer tells him "We Are Unstoppable", after Computer asks him what he is talking about, he then hears another voice and sees that there is an Evil Clone of Blood Bag, Computer asks how there is an Evil Clone of Blood Bag, Evil Computer tells him when Computer was shot with the cloning machine, Blood Bag inside of him, as they had just been eliminated. When Evil Computer got blasted away, he found Evil Blood Bag, and then recruited him to his cause, The contestants and evil counterparts then fight. Scat claims that they are too strong, even for him.
Suddenly, Water Bottle returns, announcing that she has the Really Good Smelling Lotion, and that she wins the season. Card asks Water Bottle to save them, telling her that she doesn't need to be mean anymore. Water Bottle realizes that Card right.
Water Bottle uncaps the lotion and points it at Evil Computer and Evil Blood Bag. They each take a whiff, and then start grabbing for the lotion desperately. She then flings the lotion directly into the sun. It burns up upon contact. Evil Computer and Evil Blood Bag chase after it, also burning up upon contact with the sun. Card is delighted that Water Bottle has saved them. Cringe Pill starts to voice adoration towards Water Bottle, but she cuts him off; she already has a boyfriend.
Computer declares Water Bottle the winner of The Daily Object Show. but since the Really Good Smelling Lotion was destroyed, he gives her a coupon for Jack in the Crack instead. He then walks away and leaves. The contestants are then seen sitting on the sidewalk of a road, next to a Jack in the Crack, eating food together.
The stinger shows a shot of the abandoned set. A hand reaches from offscreen, grabs the Cloner 3000, and pulls it away.
Trivia[]
- This is the first episode to have its thumbnail changed.
- Water Bottle was confirmed to have a boyfriend in this episode. It was later confirmed that the boyfriend was Lava Bucket.
- It was later revealed that after Evil Computer and Evil Blood Bag were killed when they were sent to the sun, they have teleported to the Astral Plane, where Evil Computer made his tower, and became the overarching antagonist until Season 6.
